Bar Refaeli in "Israel Fashion Art 1948-2008" Album Book

Hi, A couple of months ago when the album-book
"שיכרון עיצובים - אמנות האופנה בישראל 1948-2008"

came out - I had started a Facebook Fan Club on its behalf (which you are all most welcome to check out and join). Yesterday, I was happy to see that it has already over 700 fans.

To mark this heart-warming occasion I've decided to upload this lovely Ron Kedmi photo of Israel's sparkling top-model Bar Refaeli.

As Greer Fay Cashman wrote in her Jerusalem Post "Grapevine" page: ...the book... also serves as a reminder that some of the most beautiful women in the world reside and work here as fashion models. Bar Refaeli, known internationally not only as a fantastic model who made the cover of "Sports Illustrated"' bathing-suits issue, but also as Leonardo Dicaprio's girlfriend - is, no doubt, the best proof of that. Such a combination of a perfect figure and an outstandingly beautiful face are hard to come by unless you have a mother who is herself a stunning former model (like Bar's mom Zipi) and a very handsome dad (who could serve as a model) like Bar has as well.

Bar is featured in "Israel Fashion Art 1948-2008" in several chapters. The image seen here is from the bathing suit chapter called "Israel - Miss World of the Beachwear Arena." The bikini is a Rachel Papo for Diva design inspired by the piercing phenomena.

Other photos of Bar are included in the chapter about Jeans and in another chapter called "Talking Clothes" about T shirts and other garments carrying written messages.
