The Israeli Designer Who Was Born with A Crystal Ball and "Israel Fashion Art"

Hi, One of the most talented Israeli designers was Shuki Levy. Although this photo is from the chapter about hoods "from Biblica Rachel to Hip Hop - I des competicribe his unique contribution in the chapter about the future of fashion: "  The Future is Here – from a Moon Party to a Green World". In two different occasions in the 1980s he was able to predict the fashion of 2000. And at least in one international competition won an award for it.

Last week I met his widow Nava Levy and she called me from across the street to say: "I purchased your book and it is absolutely
wonderful, fascinating...fascinating". Needless to say she made my day. After investing such a thorough research and photography work in the book - it is such a great pleasure to hear people's appreciation of it. Thank you dear Nava very very much.

 היי נורית, קיבלתי את הספר כמתנת יום הולדת וכמובן לא יכולתי להתאפק ופתחתי מיד. אני חי בישראל 30 שנה וכצלם וחובב אופנה אני חייב להגיד שלא ראיתי דבר כזה בישראל עד עכשיו. תענוג לעיניים מבחינה ויזואלית עם צילומים נהדרים על כל תקופותיה של האופנה בארץ ועם מחקר בהחלט רציני ומקיף שמכבד ספר ברמה שכזה. מאד נהניתי לראות גם צילומים שלא הכרתי קודם של רון קדמי ואחרים. שאפו, כל הכבוד, נורית!

נורית יקרה, תודה על אישור החברות..יישר כוח, אכן קראתי את הספר "שיכרון עיצובים", ספר יוצא מן הכלל, חשוב עד מאד בתחום האופנה, מראה ומלמד את התפתחות האופנה בארצנו מראשיתה...ספר יחיד במינו. אנחנו אמנם לא מכירות אישית אבל מכירה אותך וירטואלית ונהנית לקרא ולראות אותך עד מאד... המשך עשייה פורייה. שבת שלום, ליענה.
